It’s been four months since we left Budapest. Now we finally could go back, and even though we stayed only for a couple of days, we couln’t have picked a better time for our trip. The autumn there was so beautiful, with lots of sun and trees in all possible colours, such a perfect weather for long walks and taking lots of pictures. This time we did not plan anything special, just simple wandering around, going into our favourite places, just as if it was an ordinary weekend, like when we used to live there.
This time we also chose to stay in Buda. I must admit that when we moved to Pest a year ago, I was not a big fan of the other side of the river, but now I know that Buda can be as fun and interesting, so we were really lucky to find a perfect weekend apartment there. And it was close to Margaret bridge, so we could enjoy our morning walks with the amazing views over the Danube, all covered in mist and cold morning sun. Just perfect.
